Historic DC Armory to Host First Esports Tournament in DC

If you’ve never watched a professional esports competition, here is your chance to witness some of the best teams in the world go head-to-head in our own backyard!

Events DC is partnering with Moonduck Studios to host Captains Draft 4.0, the first-ever esports tournament in the historic DC Armory on January 4 - 7, 2018! To purchase tickets to the event, click here. This is a unique opportunity because this tournament is the only planned Dota 2 Minor tournament in the United States that is open to the public in 2018.

Tickets won’t be sold for the first day – or “group stage” – of the tournament, but you can watch online through the MoonduckTV & DotaCinema broadcast channels. The DC Armory will then open to the public from January 5 - 7, with the Grand Finals on Sunday.

Get Fit Before the Holidays

You’re not alone if the holiday months bring visions of leftover Halloween candy, your Thanksgiving feast, cookie-decorating parties, and Champagne toasts. Unfortunately, the stretch from late October to New Year’s Day can also leave chocolate-filled, gravy-covered, and bubbly extra weight on our bodies.

By stepping up your activity level now, you can enjoy your seasonal favorites and still stay fit. And doing that is as close as the starting line for three fun runs – all benefiting good causes – coming up at RFK Stadium.
